What a fun file.

A few months ago, SVG Cutting Files held a Minions blog hop and this is one of the free files that was gifted to all of us hoppers. Isn't this the cutest Dracula file ever! I smile every time that I look at it. The look of the card was created using my DT take on the sketch challenge at Let's Capture Our Memories. You will find the great PageMaps sketch below. I am going to enter this fun card in SVG Cutting Files fall challenge. My papers that I used are from My Minds Eye along with some Stampin' Up! punches to create my banner.

I hope that you will have time this month to join in the fun.

One Crazy Time in Life.

Until now, Aug. and Sept. have personally been pretty challenging. I cannot wait for the calm to present itself before the next series of storms. Each day, I just need to be thankful for being able to handle all of life's curve balls that were thrown my way and to appreciate all the help that I received from my family and friends. Having an amazing support system really helps. With this being said, I am super late at posting the two Let's Capture Our Memories card sketch challenges
from Aug, 29 and Sept. 12.

Here is the Aug, 29 sketch challenge:
I cased the stamped part of this card from my amazing friend Barbra Smith. Check out her
Stampin' Up! blog for so many more ideas, She is the stamping Queen!

and here is my take on the Sept, 12 challenge:

Time to Relax

Happy Saturday everyone. Today, for my Let's Capture Our Memories DT sketch challenge, I decided to use some of my punches and SVG cut files to create this under the sea card. My papers are a mixture of scraps that came out of my scrap bin. I even used Christmas paper for the gold background and the silver fishes. The SVG files is one of Mary's from svgcuts called Wet and Wild.

In no time, I had this card in hand to give to my friend. Be sure to hop on over to Let's Capture our Memories to see what the others on the Design Team have created.

Happy Saturday, which means it is time for the Let's Capture Our Memories sketch reveal. Today's sketch was created by Nicole Nowosad. It is a simple sketch that you can let your imagination runaway with. Wanting so badly to use this awesome SVG file that I got a while back from a SVG Cutting Files hop, I started creating this adorable Birthday card for my friend's son. The Happy Day collection by Simple Stories made this card so fun and festive. I hope that he will like it.

Here is the sketch if you would like to play along for a chance to win a great prize. Also, be sure to take a look at all the eye candy that the LCOM design team created from the layout and card sketch. They will be sure to wow you.

On a quick note, SVG Cutting Files is have a Wonderland Blog Hop and they are giving away some free files along the way. I posted a link just in case you would like to hop along.

Christmas in July

I can not believe that it is already July...where does the time go??? With that said, I could not resist to do a Christmas in July card with the new Let's Capture Our Memories Sketch challenge. Looking through my Christmas stash to find the perfect color combo and printed images, I decided to go with an Echo Park's collection called, "Happy Holidays". The fun tinsel ribbon is from Flomo. I think that it compliments this card nicely giving it a festive feel.

This fantastic sketch #127 was created by Nicole Nowosad
